We’re making it possible for children to enjoy the in-school experience with the utmost safety. By consulting with experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Johns Hopkins University, and several infectious disease pediatricians, we have implemented safety guidelines to protect our children and staff from COVID-19.
Your child’s safety and education are our top priorities. Please see below for more information about how we have created a safe environment.
Enhanced Deep-Cleaning Protocols
Each school day, a professional cleaning company services our school, and all surfaces and play areas are disinfected with an EPA approved solution that eliminates the coronavirus within four minutes. In addition, electrostatic disinfection of the entire school occurs several times per week. Staff members are also required to frequently clean high-touch areas and other surfaces and objects throughout the day to avoid cross-contamination between children.
Specially Trained Staff
Our staff members have recently been trained to adhere to CDC guidelines and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, as well as additional safety precautions set by our parent company, Endeavor Schools. These guidelines were designed specifically for school environments to keep children both safe and comfortable. They are also designed to keep our staff members safe.
Masks and Temperature Checks
Only staff and children are permitted to enter our building and may do so only after passing temperature and health checks. To adequately check everyone in a timely manner, we have developed an efficient process to check children outside of the building as they arrive with parents. Once inside, children 3 years of age and older are highly encouraged to wear masks. All our staff members adhere to CDC guidelines on mask usage.
Improved Air Quality
We have taken several steps to enhance the air quality inside our school. This includes equipping our school with high-quality HVAC systems that are run 24/7 for maximum ventilation and air quality. We utilize higher-grade filters to keep our indoor quality safe and healthy at all times.
